2 Months

Mara had her 2 month appointment.  She was 11 pounds, 10.5 ounces (76%), 23" (79%) and her head was 17" (90%).  The doctor says it is normal for babies from the midwest to rate larger on the charts based on our heritage.  (Here's hoping she keeps up the trend of measuring tall!).

She is a morning girl--always smiling and talking in the morning.  She doesn't always take a lot of or very long naps during the day, but she sleeps well at night (maybe why she is in such a good mood in the morning).

She still will not eat from a bottle (stubborn) and doesn't like a pacifier, but she has found her fist, and sometimes her thumb...

Diesel is very cautious around her.  She was playing on her mat and kicking her feet, and he softly batted a her feet (not sure he knew what was going on), then he just laid down by her.  When she hangs out with daddy on the couch, Diesel will sometimes snuggle up to her (very gently).
