Mara Turns 1

At 1 year, Mara was 20lbs, .5oz and 28 1/2 inches.  In a year, she has gained 12 lbs 8oz and 9 inches.  She has 6 teeth, still crawls, but stands on the coffee table and is slowly walking along furniture.  She loves buttons--on anything, especially when it creates a noise (remotes, calculators, cell phones, and her new scooter).  She eats anything we put in front of her (though sometimes her lack of teeth make it hard to chew and it doesn't quite make it down).  She thinks she is super cool when she can take a bite of your food or drink from your glass.  She loves kids (anywhere we go, when she sees one, she thinks it is time to play).  She is a joy!
