Festivals

Summer is the time of festivals.  We took Mara to the Lonsdale Community Days Parade and the Webster Harvest Days parade. They both throw a lot of candy, although she doesn't care about that yet.

The State Fair had record temperatures this year.  We decided to go Labor Day and lucked out with 70 degree temperatures.  (Actually it was a bit cold in the morning).  We got up quite early (on the road by 7), but were happy we did as it got very crowded by afternoon.

We did machinery hill, Little Hands Farm, Eric Paslay concert, animal barns, and ate: delicious breakfast sandwich, dough-sant, mini-donuts, strawberries & cream, walleye cakes, bucket of sunnies (some with beer), french fries, pork chop on a stick, cheese curds, key lime pie on a stick, deep fried twinkie & cannoli, italian beef sandwich...I'm sure there's more.
